Lovely peaceful campsite for Adults only in a rural location but with easy access to the lake Districts popular places.

First time here. It's a beautiful setting. Very well kept and tidy site. Picnic tables dotted around for you to enjoy. It's so quiet and right beside the river. Lovely walk round the neighboring fields with the dog. Loving it.

Touring Caravan private Adult only site - also for Motor home & Caravan Club members. Close to riverside. Accepts well behaved dogs on leads.

Nestled in a remote area off Penrith is this little gem. Beautifully kept and privacy around the pitches. Small but accommodating toilet and shower in the 2 parts to the touring park. (OH is a big bloke and he managed)
The site also offers free range eggs/honesty box and does have wifi and a small price.
Literally on the river bank so perfect for the dogs to splash about.
1.5 mile walk to the small village or 12 miles to Penrith.
If your after a quiet, peaceful Adults only site this is a ray of sunshine.

Just had a 10 night stay. Wonderful quiet peaceful place. Privacy pitches in the millrace area are superb. Owners are always on hand should you need help. Toilet and shower huts are a very nice touch and very well equipped. Nice area with the running stream further down. Thank you for a quiet pleasant stay. Keep up the good work. Will definitely return soon.

WE DO HAVE TO WONDER WHY THE MANY SO-CALLED "PUB STOPOVERS" ARE BEING ALLOWED TO USE THEIR CAR PARKS AS AN OVERNIGHT STAY for Motor homes.
Approved Sites have to adhere to stringent spacing, health/safety/sanitary rules.
The Pub Car parks have NON of these stringent spacing, safety and sanitary measures in place.
"Nor do they undergo any form of inspection by any authority".
Important:
Please note, we have "NO" Charging points for "Electrically Powered Vehicles".
(But we "DO" have 10amp Electric Hookups on all Pitches)
A (quite unique) well appraised Free Shower and Toilet is available to all site users
On the day of your arrival an allocated pitch number will be displayed alongside your name on the welcome board just outside the main entrance. Also a reserved sign will be placed on your allocated pitch bearing your name.
