This is the road near the small local village of Berrier, with Carrock fell as the back-drop.
Only a few miles from this point is the Historic village of Greystoke, which is a popular stop-off-point for cyclists doing the "Coast to Coast".


This is Dash Falls near the village of Orthwaite. The track leads up to the back of Skiddaw, and Skiddaw House, where you can join the "Cumbrian way" to either Keswick, or the head of Swineside valley above the village of Mosedale.
